Donyell Malen is the latest youngster to become involved with Arsenal's first team.

Teenage star Donyell Malen was invited to train with Arsenal's first team on Monday, ahead of their Champions League tie with Olympiakos.

Malen was a summer signing from Dutch side Ajax, with The Mail reporting in July how the Gunners had frustrated the Eredivisie side by snapping up the youngster.

The 16-year-old is represented by Mino Raiola, who has star clients Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on his books.

Malen was described by Ajax's Wim Jonk as a 'great talent', expressing his sadness on Ajax's website that he had left to join Arsenal.

The youngster was born in 1999 and does not turn 17 until January, yet it is a real show of faith by Arsene Wenger to include him in with the first team squad ahead of such an important game.

Malen is an striker, who has been capped for the Netherlands at under-15, under-16 and under-17 levels.

Another youngster involved in the session was under-21 regular Glen Kamara, who is a Finnish youth international and a defensive midfielder.
