According to the Express and Star, Wolves are still hoping to wrap up some loan deals in the coming weeks, with two players earmarked for potential moves to Molineux.
Emmanuel Riviere of Newcastle and Jerome Sinclair of Liverpool are the two players named in the report as potentially being wanted by Kenny Jackett, with both being listed for loan by their parent clubs.
Wolves are looking for more striking cover following the loss of Nouha Dicko to injury, especially after their poor start to the season, and both Sinclair and Riviere would bring a goal threat.
Sinclair, 19, has little first-team experience to his name, but the youngster is highly rated by all who have seen him, and the Reds may believe a loan spell to Wolves would be perfect for his development.
Riviere is older at 25, and when he moved to Newcastle last summer, it was in the guise of a first-team player. However, things have not gone swimmingly for the forward on Tyneside, and the once promising French youth international made just 28 appearances last term.
However, he has undoubted quality, and with Newcastle unwilling to give up on him just yet, Riviere could truly get back into form with a spell in the second tier.
There are no indications that Wolves are yet to formalise their interest in either of the duo, but with Jackett pining for a new striker, it would come as no surprise to see a loan deal completed in the coming days.
