Manchester City went down 4-1 at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester City fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Raheem Sterling’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

The England international winger started the Premier League game at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon and played for the entire 90 minutes.

City were expected by many to win the game in North London, but Manuel Pellegrini’s side slumped to a surprise 4-1 defeat.

Sterling, who joined the Citizens from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window, did not exactly have a bad game on a personal level, but he failed to make a difference.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, the 20-year-old attacker took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 80%, created four chances, put in two crosses, attempted three dribbles, and made one interception and one block.

Following the match, City fans took to Twitter to have their say on the performance on Sterling against Tottenham.
