Ikechi Anya and Nathan Ake react on Twitter to Watford defeat

Watford suffered a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea-owned defender Nathan Ake has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Watford’s defeat to Crystal Palace at home on Sunday afternoon.

Watford failed to make it three wins in a row in the Premier League, as they went down 1-0 to Palace at Vicarage Road.

Former Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye’s penalty in the 71st minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Ake, who joined Watford on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, played the final 15 minutes of the game after coming on as a substitute for Allan Nyom.

The 20-year-old was disappointed with the final result and posted the following message on Twitter:

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Vicarage Road, hosts Watford had 56% of the possession, took 15 shots of which just two were on target, and earned six corners.
