Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to former Newcastle United winger Hatem Ben Arfa’s heroics this weekend.
Ben Arfa was the star for Nice on Sunday evening, as they defeated Saint-Etienne 4-1 away from home in Ligue 1.
The France international winger scored two goals at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, the second of which saw him skip past five players before slotting home past the opposition goalkeeper.
The former Newcastle man had an overall good game as well: he had a pass accuracy of 88%, attempted six dribbles, took four shots and put in three crosses.
France Under-21 international left-back Amavi, who joined Villa from Nice in the summer transfer window, was impressed with Ben Arfa’s performance and made the following post on Twitter, which when translated from French reads: “Hatem Ben Arfa he does what he wants when he wants!!!”

Nice are seventh in Ligue 1 at the moment with 14 points from eight matches, just a point behind fourth-place Reims.
Meanwhile, Villa currently find themselves third in the Premier League table with only four points from seven games.
