Brady mocked Sherwood in her column for The Sun, days after Villa knocked Birmingham out of the Capital One Cup with a 1-0 win.
She took aim at his perceived self-praise, accusing him of suggesting he masterminded a roaring victory over a team one division below.
She said: "Villa manager Tim Sherwood appears to be awarding himself ten out of ten for tactics after the home win against the club his fans believe are the lower classes next door — Birmingham City.
"Sherwood claims it is no accident that his team played badly in the first half, that it was just a gameplan for fooling the opposition.
"Second half, the full panoply of Villa skills are unveiled to crush the Championship side 1-0. Eat your heart out, Blackadder."
Villa had won the game through a Rudy Gestede header, but it was the impact of substitutes Jack Grealish and Jordan Ayew which changed the game.
Sherwood said after the game he had always planned to bring on Grealish, with the desired effect playing out, but Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett's response foreshadowed Brady's, stating via the Birmingham Mail: "I am not sure whether a tactic of getting booed at half time would be a good one.”
Her Hammers will not being meeting Sherwood's Villa any time soon, with their first scheduled clash of the season coming on Boxing Day.
