Sky Sports pundit uses an interesting phrase to describe Leeds’ season

Middlesbrough will face Leeds United at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Former Newcastle United defender Steve Howey described Leeds United as a “hitty-missy” team during the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning.

While warning Middlesbrough not to take the Whites lightly on Sunday afternoon, Howey said: "It’s going to be a tough game against Leeds.

"Leeds are one of these teams who have been kind of hitty-missy really this season."

Leeds will head into the Championship game on the back of a 2-1 victory over Milton Keynes Dones away from home in the league.

Uwe Rosler’s side are 14th in the Championship table at the moment with 11 points from eight matches, just four points behind sixth-place Burnley with a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough find themselves second in the standings at the moment with 17 points from eight matches, just four points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion with a game in a hand.

Aitor Karanka’s side will head into Sunday’s match on the back of a 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Riverside Stadium in the third round of the League Cup.
