Confirmed: Watford and Crystal Palace line-ups

Here is how Watford and Crystal Palace will line up for this afternoon’s match:

Watford welcome Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road this afternoon for the final Premier League game of the weekend.

Watford are currently 12th in the table while Palace are two places higher but ahead of today’s opponents only on goal-difference.

This is the first time these two sides have met in the Premier League, but in their previous encounters Palace have a fine recent record, with Watford winning only one of their last nine league games against today’s opponents.

Palace’s away record since Alan Pardew took charge is impressive, with the Eagles winning eight of their 11 away matches in the top flight and that should make for a very interesting encounter against Watford.

Palace beat Charlton Athletic 4-1 in the Capital One Cup last time out while Watford defeated Newcastle United 2-1 away last weekend.

Expect plenty of goals in this match with a score draw potentially the most likely option.
