Rangers will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Greenock Morton away from home in the Scottish Championship this afternoon.

The Gers will head into the game at Cappielow Park on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Scottish Premiership outfit St Johnstone in the third round of the Scottish League Cup.

The performance against St Johnstone left much to be desired, and Rangers manager Mark Warburton will want his players to step up against Morton this afternoon.

Rangers are firm favourites to win the Scottish Championship title this season despite their failure to progress further in the Scottish League Cup.

The Glasgow-based side are at the top of the league table at the moment with 21 points from seven matches, six points clear of Falkirk, who are currently second in the standings.

It promises to be an interesting game at Cappielow Park, and this is how Rangers will line up:

Rangers XI: Foderingham; Tavernier, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace; Halliday, Holt, Zelalem; McKay, Waghorn, Oduwa

Subs: Kelly, Ball, Law, Shiels, Clark, Miller, Aird
