Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has taken to social networking site Twitter to welcome the return to scoring ways of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Kane scored his first competitive goal of the season for Spurs in the 4-1 victory over Manchester City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The England international striker found the target just past the hour mark when he side-footed the ball in after teammate Christian Eriksen's free kick had come back off the woodwork.
Former Newcastle striker Shearer was following the match, and he was pleased to see his compatriot score his first goal of the season for his club.
