Yannick Bolasie reacts on Twitter after signing new deal, Palace fans respond

The Crystal Palace winger is over the moon at Selhurst Park.

Yannick Bolasie took to Twitter to express his delight after signing a new contract with Crystal Palace on Saturday night.

The south London side weren't in action - they play Watford on Sunday afternoon - giving the club time to announce the 26-year-old's new deal.

Bolasie hasn't been in his best form so far this season but has been affected by family-related issues and his new contract should certainly boost both his confidence and his form at Palace this season.

It was last campaign's performances that really saw Bolasie stand out at Crystal Palace and there was talk he could leave Selhurst Park over the summer. But the winger remained and now he has pledged his future to the south London outfit.

The 26-year-old wasn't the only man to be pleased by the news, though, with many fans responding to him on Twitter and congratulating him, wishing him all the best & declaring their own pride at the news.

Although there were some critics, here's a selection of the Crystal Palace fans who responded to the Bolasie news on social media. A good day for the club, it seems...
