Fulham fans were left on cloud nine on Friday night after watching the west London side absolutely dismantle fierce rivals QPR.
Indeed, the hosts delighted Craven Cottage with a 4-0 win over the R's and a number of star performers had supporters dreaming of a very promising season indeed.
There were Richard Stearman and Tim Ream in defence - and there were Moussa Dembele and Ross McCormack up front. There were others, of course, but Fulham fans were overjoyed by their two forwards in particular.
In 19-year-old Dembele, the Cottagers have one of the most exciting talents in the Championship. As ever, though, the Fulham faithful were left simply raving about a 29-year-old in McCormack after his brace and overall stellar performance against QPR.
As for the R's, their poor record at Fulham continues, while Chris Ramsey could now face pressure after dropping to 10th. Even if QPR were top of the Championship, a 4-0 defeat at the Cottage would leave their manager facing questions.
Here's how Fulham fans reacted on Twitter to McCormack's brilliant display against the R's, then; what a night for the home side...
Fulham were magnificent tonight, Dembele and McCormack in particular, looked threatening every time they went forward! #FFC— David van Davis (@LeicesterFan93) September 25, 2015
Can we play QPR every week? Emphatic derby win for #FFC tonight, hopefully will kickstart a promotion push. Dembele and McCormack were ace.— Elliott Draper (@ejdraper) September 25, 2015
When Ross McCormack performs like that is there anyone in the division to touch him? Absolute masterclass from a wonderfully gifted player.— White Noise (@WhiteNoise1879) September 25, 2015
