Chris Sutton has written in The Daily Record about his biggest worry with Celtic.
The former Celtic striker has suggested that the Bhoys could be in trouble if Leigh Griffiths gets injured.
Scotland international striker Griffiths has been in brilliant form for the Hoops so far this season and is currently manager Ronny Deila’s first choice up front.
Summer signing Nadir Ciftci is also there, while Anthony Stokes is a 'striker' despite being played out wide by Deila.
Celtic could also secure the services of Carlton Cole on a free transfer, as the former Chelsea and West Ham United man is training with them at the moment.
Sutton does not seem to rate Cole highly and has claimed that Celtic could suffer if Griffiths suffers an injury.
“My biggest worry is that if Leigh Griffiths gets injured Celtic don’t have a replacement for him at the minute,” the former England international wrote in The Daily Record.
“I know there’s talk of Carlton Cole possibly signing but he’s not a striker that’s going to get in behind defences like Griffiths does.
“So if he does get injured how short will Celtic be? That’s a real cause for concern but the players have to relish the challenge.”
Celtic are expected to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, but they do not appear to be in control at the moment.
The Bhoys are second in the league table at the moment with 19 points from eight matches, five points behind leaders Aberdeen.
The Hoops will take on Hearts at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
