Celtic were left to rue their numerous missed chances as they were held to a 0-0 draw against Hearts at Celtic Park this afternoon.
The Bhoys went into the game having won their last two games 6-0 and 2-0 respectively, but couldn't break down Hearts in a frustrating afternoon for Ronny Deila.
Celtic hit 24 shots on the Hearts goal, but were left frustrated by their inability to convert chances, with James Forrest rattling the woodwork for the hosts.
Then, just as Hearts' Sam Nicholson got through on goal, Bhoys defender Efe Ambrose hauled him down to pick up a red card - a decision that may have saved Celtic in the end.
It was a missed opportunity for Celtic, who couldn't capitalise on Aberdeen's 2-1 defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, with Celtic's draw cutting the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership from five to four points.
Meanwhile, Hearts remain four points behind Celtic after a superb start to the season for Robbie Neilson's side, and their clean sheet today will be a big boost for the Jambos.
