Nottingham Forest player ratings: Wilson shines, as Mendes impresses again

We rate the performance of Nottingham Forest's players during their 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town on Thursday night.

Dorus De Vries - 6

The Nottingham Forest goalkeeper had a quiet evening. Huddersfield Town did not test him too many times, but he looked assured when they did. Nothing he could have done to stop Emyr Huws' deflected goal.

Eric Lichaj - 7

He was booked early on, but coped really well against a tricky opponent in Mustapha Carayol. His header to set up Ryan Mendes' goal was brilliant, too.

Jack Hobbs - 7

A commanding performance from the centre-back, who generally dealt with Huddersfield's strikers well.

Kelvin Wilson - 8

Forest's man of the match. The former Celtic man was superb throughout, and put in a defensive performance which highlighted the qualities he possesses.

Daniel Pinillos - 6

Played a big part in Forest's goal, when he got forward well and put in a good delivery, but he struggled defensively at times.

Michael Mancienne - 6

The England youth international put in a decent performance in defensive midfield, but was solid rather than spectacular.

Jame Ward - 7

He annoyed the home fans with his style of play, but proved to be a constant menace. Kept getting forward, and his work-rate will have impressed Forest supporters.

David Vaughan - 6

Kept possession well, and broke up a number of Huddersfield attacks, but didn't do too much going forward.

Henri Lansbury - 7

His class was evident, as he set the tone for Forest. He is always an accurate passer, and his distribution was on point at the John Smith's Stadium.

Ryan Mendes - 7

Arguably his finest performance in a Forest shirt to date, he took his goal really well and his pace proved to be a threat all evening.

Chris O'Grady - 6

His work generally set-up chances for others, but he didn't pose too much of a goal threat himself.

Chris Burke - 5

Should have put the match to bed when he raced clean through on goal late on, but he missed his big chance and it ultimately proved costly.

Tyler Walker - N/A

Entered the field too late to be rated.
