Newcastle will be looking to kickstart their season this weekend when they take on Jose Mourinho's Chelsea.
The Magpies have endured a torrid start to the season, picking up only two points from the first six games of the Premier League season - and Steve McClaren's side made matters worse with a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup this week.
Now, McClaren must try and galvanise his side for the visit of the Premier League champions, though Mourinho's men haven't started the season so well themselves.
With just two wins in their six games, Chelsea have struggled to recapture last season's form, with many suggesting that Mourinho's men may already be out of the title race at this early stage.
Mourinho hasn't had much success on Tyneside recently either, watching his side lose 2-1 against Newcastle last season - and how McClaren would love for a repeat of that this weekend.
McClaren has a potential crisis at left back with Massadio Haidara requiring a late fitness test on Saturday, though Fabricio Coloccini should return to the side having been left out against Sheffield Wednesday.
Chelsea, meanwhile, will be without Diego Costa following his suspension from the Arsenal game, with ex-Newcastle forward Loic Remy likely to lead the line in attack.
