Brendan Rodgers is currently under pressure at Liverpool, but the man rumoured to be taking over seems relaxed.
Brendan Rodgers’ position at Liverpool has never looked more under threat then it does right now. After a stuttering start in the Premier League they scraped past Carlisle in the League Cup this week and plenty of names have been thrown into the ring regarding potentially replacing the player.
One such name is former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian has a fantastic record with the likes of Real Madrid and AC Milan and would be a popular choice among the fans at Anfield given his previous successes.
However, yesterday he was enjoying his time catching up with a couple of old friends.
He posted this picture on his official Twitter account alongside his former Chelsea stalwart Frank Lampard and ex-AC Milan talisman Andrea Pirlo in New York. The two veterans both now play in MLS for New York City FC and Ancelotti is currently based stateside.
Great soiree with two legends and good friends @Pirlo_official & Frank Lampard
