FIFA 16 pays tribute to Portsmouth fan who passed away earlier this year

Fratton Park

We're not ones to get all emotional, but this really did tug on the heartstrings...

FIFA 16 came out on Thursday and, admit it, you can't stop thinking about it and wish you were playing it right now instead of being stuck in the office, don't you?

You've probably spent most of your wage on FIFA points (and got a load of rubbish), and started your new careermode with Bayern Munich.

You're having a great time, but we reckon you won't have spotted this lovely easter egg in the game which only the most eagle-eyed of fans will have noticed.

Unless, of course, you're a Portsmouth fan... Why? Well, those big hearted guys and gals over at EA have decided to pay a lovely tribute to one of their staff members who passed away this year.

Simon Humber was a creative director for FIFA and a massive Portsmouth fan, so the FIFA team decided to leave a memorial to him by having a wreath of flowers laid beside the goal at Fratton Park.

If this isn't reason enough to stop what you're doing and start a new career mode with Portsmouth and take them back to where they belong in the Premier League, then we're not sure you have any heart!
