Wright reacts on Twitter to Arsenal fan behaviour - After posting meme mocking Tottenham

Ian Wright has condemned the behaviour of Arsenal fans at White Hart Lane.

Former Arsenal star Ian Wright was delighted to see his old club win away to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

A surprise double from midfielder Mathieu Flamini was enough to earn a 2-1 win, with a large thanks also to Kieran Gibbs for clearing a Harry Kane volley off the line.

The win knocked Spurs out of a competition they were runners-up in last season, with the Gunners facing Sheffield Wednesday in the next round.

Wright was thrilled to see Arsenal get the victory, and took to Twitter after the final whistle to express his delight, and then posted a meme of Mathieu Flamini designed to irritate Spurs fans.

It was just a bit of 'banter' from the former England international striker turned pundit, but he clearly felt Arsenal fans went too far in their behaviour after the final whistle at White Hart Lane.

A group of supporters were caught on video dismantling banners, causing damage to Tottenham's stadium, and Wright was not impressed.
