West Ham United-owned Matt Jarvis was on target for Norwich City in their 3-0 home win against West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup.

West Ham United-owned Matt Jarvis has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Norwich City’s win against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday evening.

The Canaries defeated Premier League rivals West Brom 3-0 at home in the third round of the League Cup.

After a goalless first half, winger Jarvis, who joined Norwich on a season-long loan deal from Premier League rivals West Ham in the summer transfer window, broke the deadlock just past the hour mark.

Lafferty, making a rare appearance for the Canaries, doubled the home team’s advantage with a fine low finish in the 85th minute, and minutes later West Brom defender Sebastien Pocognoli scored an own goal.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Carrow Road, hosts Norwich had 59% of the possession, took 12 shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners.

Visitors West Brom had 41% of the possession, took four shots of which one was on target, and earned five corners.

Following the match, 29-year-old Jarvis took to Twitter to express his delight at the win, with former Norwich striker Iwan Roberts congratulating him for his goal on the social networking site.

Norwich will take on Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the fourth round of the League Cup.
