The Welsh international was responding to a Tweet from Darren O'Dea.
Celtic were in League Cup action last night – taking on Raith Rovers at Parkhead in what proved to be something of a tough battle for the Glasgow side.
In the end goals from Kris Commons and Stefan Johansen got The Bhoys the win biut attention after the game soon turned to comments on Twitter being made by former Celtic defender Darren O’Dea.
The 28-year-old Mumbai City defender spent seven years at Celtic after arriving from Home Farm in his native Ireland.
And he made this comment last night, referring to the joy and pride that comes with playing for Celtic Football Club.
Most players no what it means to play for Celtic! https://t.co/8B4gPgQWHU— Darren O'Dea (@odea_darren) September 23, 2015
O’Dea may have never lived up to his billing in Glasgow, but it is certainly great to hear just what it meant to him.
It was a feeling soon seconded by a Crystal Palace star. Joe Ledley Tweeted this in response.
The Palace and Wales star spent four years at Celtic prior to his move to Palace and won the Scottish Premiership three times during his time at the club and is obviously still proud to have worn the green-and-white hoops.
