Aston Villa send Janoi Donacien out on loan to League Two for second time this season

The 21-year-old Saint Lucian looks set to continue his career away from Villa Park.

Aston Villa have plenty of top young players in their ranks and with Tim Sherwood at the helm the club’s young talents have never had a better chance at making it into the first-team at Villa Park.

However, whilst Jack Grealish is in the picture and the likes of Andre Green and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy’s look shoe-ins to make it.

Janoi Donacien however looks like a player who looks set to continue his long-term career away from Villa Park.

The Saint Lucian spent last season on loan at Tranmere Rovers in League Two, but did not help the team in their fight for survival at the foot of the Football League.

Last month he was sent out on a short-term loan to Wycombe Wanderers but played just twice at Adams Park and was not considered for an extension when it expired this month.

Now he has been sent out on loan to Newport County.

The 21-year-old will need to impress during his latest stint in League Two if he is to have any chance of making it at Villa. But regardless of that, it is a chance to put himself in the shop window for a potential permanent move in the future.
