Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll has told the club's official media channel that the players took the defeat to Arsenal hard.
Carroll started the 2-1 defeat in the Capital One Cup at White Hart Lane, with Arsenal won through two surprise goals from Mathieu Flamini.
The former Swansea and QPR loanee explained that in the dressing room afterwards the players were 'gutted' with the result.

The loss to a rival and exit from a competition they reached the final in last season is a tough blow to take, especially considering the fixture at the weekend.
While Spurs have now seen their run of three consecutive wins come to an end with the Arsenal loss, City had been defeated in their last two games - to Juventus and West Ham.
They got back on track in midweek with a comprehensive 4-1 win, and Spurs would have wanted to be full of confidence heading into the tie.
Carroll is correct in that Spurs have to 'move on', but having played first team stars like Harry Kane, who is still searching for a goal, facing City will be harder than had they been coming off a win over Arsenal.
