According to a report from the Birmingham Mail, West Bromwich Albion could give a debut to summer signing Anders Lindegaard when Tony Pulis’s side take on Norwich City in the Capital One Cup this evening.
Lindegaard arrived at the Hawthorns from Manchester United in the most recent transfer window, but so far he has been an unused substitute for the matches against Southampton and Aston Villa.
But the League Cup gives Pulis the chance to rotate his squad and as such it is being reported that Lindegaard will not be the only West Brom fringe player to get a chance to impress.
The Birmingham Mail is also tipping Serge Gnabry, James Chester, Cristian Gamboa and Victor Anichebe to feature against the Canaries.
West Brom’s most recent match was the derby against Villa that the Baggies won 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Saido Berahino.
That will be a massive confidence boost for West Brom heading into this evening’s game and their players will know they have a chance of doing very well in this competition if they give it all they have got.
