Some of West Ham United’s players have been photographed taking part in training following their 2-1 defeat to Leicester City on Tuesday evening, with the images later posted on the club's official Twitter account.
The Hammers went behind in the third round Capital One Cup clash when Joe Dodoo found the net but Mauro Zarate equalised to ensure the game ultimately went to extra-time.
A 116th-minute goal from Andy King sealed the victory and ensured the Foxes are yet to be beaten in any competition this season, while West Ham are now left to focus solely on their impressive league campaign for the next few months.
Among those West Ham players caught on camera on Wednesday morning were centre-back Winston Reid – who was outstanding against Manchester City recently – and the New Zealand international will be targeting another victory when his side take on Norwich City this weekend.
A win there could see West Ham go level on points with current league leaders City but manager Slaven Bilic will not be getting ahead of himself, knowing as he does what a long, hard season he has ahead of him.
