Barcelona are one of the best teams in Europe, but they suffered a heavy defeat to Celta de Vigo away from home in La Liga this evening.
The Spanish giants went down 4-1 to Celta at the Estadio Municipal de Balaidos, and one will have to admit that the home team deserved the victory.
One of the star players for Eduardo Berizzo’s side was Iago Aspas, who joined the Galician outfit in the summer transfer window.
Aspas scored two goals against Barcelona, first on the half-hour mark and then in the 56th minute.
The 28-year-old played for Celta until 2013 when he joined Premier League outfit Liverpool.
Aspas struggled to make an impact on Merseyside and was sent out on a season-long loan deal to La Liga side Sevilla in the summer of 2014.
Then in the summer of 2015, the Spaniard returned to his former club Celta on a permanent contract.
Another Celta summer signing, John Guidetti, was on target against Barcelona. The Sweden international forward came on as a substitute for Aspas in the 78th minute and scored just five minutes later.
Guidetti joined Celta on a free transfer in the summer, having played for Scottish Premiership giants Celtic last season on loan from Manchester City.
