The imminent Leeds United loanee has been preparing with his new teammates this week.
Soon-to-be Leeds United loanee Will Buckley has been photographed in training ahead of his temporary switch from Sunderland, in a picture later posted on the club's official Twitter account.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post Leeds and the Black Cats have agreed a loan deal for the 25-year-old, but Uwe Rosler’s side will not make things official until next week, allowing them to keep him for 93 days that will then run until the January transfer window opens and he can hopefully complete a permanent £1million transfer.
Buckley is predominantly a left winger although he can also operate on the opposite flank and he can even play as a centre forward if required.
He has only ever played 24 first-team matches for Sunderland and has previously turned out for Brighton & Hove Albion, Rochdale and Watford.
Now Buckley has the chance to reignite his career at Elland Road and Leeds will be getting yet another talented wide player after the recent arrivals of Stuart Dallas and Jordan Botaka.
While Leeds fans will have to wait a little longer to see Buckley in action, it is clear he is keeping himself fit in training before his potential debut against Birmingham City at the start of October.
