Manchester City's big-money summer signings seem to be delivering in the early part of the season, with both Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling impressing Blues fans.
De Bruyne made it two goals in two games on Tuesday night as he and Sterling combined for each other's goals against Sunderland, with City fans suggesting that the £55 million fee paid to Wolfsburg for his services - as reported by the BBC - already looks to be money well spent. His link up play and attacking threat certainly seems to give the side another goalscoring option in what is a frighteningly good attacking unit.
He was one of the side's outstanding performers in the defeat to West Ham United at the weekend, and showed no signs of letting up after his display in the League Cup - which left many City fans drooling, and may have Chelsea fans regretting the fact that he was allowed to move on midway through the 2013/14 season.
It's been a good start to the attacking midfielder's Manchester City career and there is obviously the hope of more to come as the side targets a significant improvement on last season, with Manuel Pellegrini's men heavy favourites to regain the Premier League title - though judging by the seriousness in their approach to their win last night, the League Cup could be on their list of priorities as well.
