Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Mario Balotelli for AC Milan on Tuesday evening.
The Italy international striker made his first start for Milan against Udinese away from home in Serie A.
Balotelli, who joined the Italian giants on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Rossoneri registered a 3-2 win.
The former Manchester City striker put Milan in the lead at the Stadio Friuli in Udine after just five minutes when he found the target with a brilliant free kick.
Giacomo Bonaventura doubled the visiting team’s advantage just five minutes later, and Cristian Zapata headed home their third on the stroke of half time.
Udinese, though, did not collapse in the second half and scored twice through Emmanuel Badu and Duvan Zapata to give Sinisa Mihajlovic's side a run for their money.
Balotelli, who is in his second spell at Milan, had a good game overall. The former Inter Milan striker took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 74%, created three chances, put in three crosses, attempted two dribbles, and made one interception and one block.
