The draw for the fourth round of the Capital One Cup was made tonight - who faces who?

Capital One Cup holders Chelsea face a trip to Stoke City in the fourth round of the competition after beating Walsall 4-1 at the Banks's Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Potters recorded a 1-0 victory at Fulham in their third round tie last night and will now have to find a way past the reigning top-flight champions if they want to secure a place in the last eight.

Elsewhere, another all-Premier League encounter sees Aston Villa travel to Southampton, while Arsenal's reward for a 2-1 derby win at Tottenham Hotspur is an away tie against Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, who beat Newcastle United 1-0 at St James' Park to book their place in the fourth round.

Manchester United also face second tier opposition in Middlesbrough at Old Trafford, while neighbours Manchester City take on Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool, meanwhile, only just managed edge past League Two's Carlisle United at Anfield 3-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra-time and will now host Eddie Howe's Bournemouth in the next round.

Here is the fourth round draw in full, with the ties to be played from the week commencing 26 October:

Manchester City v Crystal Palace
