Coquelin replacement? Arsenal set to include Finnish teenager Glen Kamara in squad against Tottenham

Arsene Wenger Waves

Glen Kamara is to be included in Arsenal's squad against Tottenham.

Francis Coquelin may be injured, but Arsenal have another talented youngster to call up from their midfield ranks.

The Times report Glen Kamara will be called up to Arsenal's squad for the Capital One Cup clash with Tottenham Hotspur this evening.

Pre-season star Alex Iwobi is the other name likely to be involved states the report, while The Mirror claimed earlier this week that summer signing from Lens, Jeff Reine-Adelaide could be included.

Kamara is a 19-year-old who hails from Finland, and is an under-21 international for his country.

He has been a regular for Arsenal's under-21 side over the past year, making 32 appearances, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Kamara trained with the first team last season, and was pictured alongside Iwobi yesterday, being mentored by former Invincible, Robert Pires.

Arsenal could opt to play either, or both of Mikel Arteta or Mathieu Flamini in midfield, but given their success with Coquelin last season, calling up Kamara could see them unearth a gem.
