Arsenal-owned Hull City striker Chuba Akpom has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s victory over Swansea City at home on Tuesday evening.
Championship outfit Hull got the better of Premier League side Swansea 1-0 at the KC Stadium in the third round of the League Cup.
David Meyler's close-range finish in the 41st minute of the encounter proved to be the difference between the two teams.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the KC Stadium, Hull had 36% of the possession, took six shots of which five were on target, and earned three corners.
Visiting Swansea had 64% of the possession, took 18 shots of which four were on target, and earned eight corners.
Following the win, Akpom, who joined Hull from North London outfit Arsenal on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, took to Twitter to express his delight at the triumph.
