Celtic youngster Kieran Tierney started in the club's 2-0 win over Raith Rovers.
Celtic won 2-0 against Raith Rovers as they continue their defence of the Scottish League Cup.
Kris Commons and Stefan Johansen scored the goals which saw off a spirited effort from the away side.
Manager Ronny Deila mixed up his team selection, introducing young players as well as first team stars.
Aiden Nesbitt was one to be handed a debut as a late substitute, while former Manchester United youngster Saidy Janko impressed.
Another who stood out was Kieran Tierney who was making only his third start for the club, and looked like it could have been his 30th.
The 18-year-old defender played a key role in his side keeping a clean sheet, excelling at left-back, and more than comfortable joining the attack.
With more established player like Nadir Ciftci struggling to make an impression, and perhaps just going through the motions, Tierney's confidence and enthusiasm was just what the club needed in a game like this, one they were expected to win comfortably - and would have been torn apart by the media had they lost.
Tierney's performance received a thumbs up from supporters, here is a look at how they reacted via Twitter...
Tierney played well tonight. Would have liked to seen more of Aiden Nesbit. #Celtic— Leann Kelly (@Leann_27) September 23, 2015
Kieran Tierney should be in the team every week. A modern day Lisbon lions is wit we're needing if we plan on getting far in Europe.— Jordan Convery (@JordanConvery88) September 23, 2015
Also, great to see Kieran Tierney play well and get ninety minutes under his belt. Certainly capable of featuring in more domestic ties.— Maley's Bhoys (@MaleysBhoys) September 23, 2015

Usual early league cup fare tonight. Thought Tierney played very well, as did Janko. Didn't happen for GMS, McGregor or Ciftci. 2 nice goals— Timothy Leary (@sharko67) September 23, 2015
