Tottenham Hotspur suffered a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby on Wednesday evening.

Alan Sugar has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby on Wednesday evening.

Tottenham suffered a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal at home in the third round of the League Cup.

French midfielder Mathieu Flamini put the Gunners in the lead in the 26th minute and scored the winner in the 78th minute, after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had scored an own goal on 56 minutes.

Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar was following the match, and he was far from impressed with the performance of defender Federico Fazio.

Fazio started the League Cup tie against Arsenal and played for the entire 90 minutes, but he failed to make a good impact.

The Argentine centre-back struggled to cope with the Gunners' attackers, and it is clear why Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino does not consider him a regular in his first team.

The 28-year-old has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2014, but he has failed to show his quality in the Premier League.
