West Ham man Diafra Sakho targets away wins at Manchester United and Chelsea

According to the Senegalese striker, the Hammers are planning more giant-killings on the road this season.

West Ham United's remarkable start to the season continued at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, where Slaven Bilic's team secured another shock away victory to climb to third in the Premier League table.

With their win at the weekend, the triumph now means that the Hammers have beaten Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City away from home already this season, but the plans for further success up and down the country don't appear to be slowing yet.

Speaking to West Ham's official website after the 2-1 win at the Etihad, striker Diafra Sakho offered his thoughts on the fixture and even insisted that his team are now targeting wins at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge to complete their haul.

“These are amazing results," Sakho said. "I'm very happy for the team that we have been able to win at Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. They were all great performances.

“This is a very long season and now we want victories at Manchester United and Chelsea."

On a personal level, the Senegalese striker has played starring roles in West Ham's exploits on the road; chipping in with two goals across the three games to stun their respective opponents.

Playing their exciting brand of counter-attacking football, the pacy forward has been able to benefit greatly from Bilic's tactics, while he has been more than happy to reciprocate that with his contributions on the scoreboard.
