Martin Keown has told Match of the Day that he thinks Dele Alli has made an incredible start since arriving at Tottenham Hotspur.
Alli arrived at Spurs from Milton Keynes Dons with no top-flight experience, but he has immediately settled into his new environment and forced his way into the starting line-up.
It has been a stunning start to the 18-year-old's career at White Hart Lane, and Keown has paid tribute to the England youth international after his display in Tottenham's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
"Dele Alli has been incredible," he said. "He's going up two divisions, and you'd never believe it. He wants to make things happen and straight away he caught the eye. He is like Jermaine Jenas in the way he plays. He wants to shoot and has an eye for goal."
Keown's praise for Tottenham's new arrivals did not stop there, with the former Arsenal defender also encouraged by Heung-Min Son's performance.
Son scored the only goal of the game against Palace, and his energy caught the eye of Keown - who felt the South Korean international was 'outstanding'.
"Son's work-rate is infectious. I like his movement, and the way that he plays," he enthused. "He is buzzing around and you need that in your players. Pochettino wants high pressing and Son's work-rate was outstanding. He is always a threat. He was everywhere against Crystal Palace."
The additions that Spurs have made over the summer - with Alli falling into that category despite a deal being struck in January - seem to have strengthened the options that Mauricio Pochettino has available to him, and the Lilywhites are starting to click into gear.
Having beaten Palace, they have now won their last three games, and Spurs are unbeaten since the opening day of the season, when they lost to Manchester United.
