Manchester United players react on Twitter to win against Southampton

Manchester United defeated Southampton 3-2 away from home in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester United players have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the win against Southampton away from home on Sunday afternoon.

United returned to winning ways as they got the better of the Saints 3-2 at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.

The Red Devils headed into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to PSV in Eindhoven in the Champions League Group B and were expected to be given a run for their money by Southampton.

Indeed, it was Ronald Koeman’s side who took the lead as early as the 13th minute through Italian striker Graziano Pelle.

Anthony Martial equalised for the Red Devils in the 34th minute and added a second five minutes after the restart. Spain international attacking midfielder Juan Mata found the target in the 68th minute.

Pelle made it 3-2 four minutes before full time, but United held on to pick up all three points at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Following the match, a number of United players took to Twitter to revel in their success over Southampton.
