Anthony Martial does not look such a waste of money now...
Manchester United's signing of Anthony Martial already looks inspired.
The French teenager and full international scored two goals to inspire the Red Devils to a 3-2 away with at Southampton on his first Premier League start for the club.
It followed a goal against rivals Liverpool on his debut at Old Trafford in a 3-1 win a week earlier.
But hold on... wasn't he supposed to be a complete waste of money super-flop?
That is what the papers would have the public believe before he had even kicked a ball for his new team, with The Mirror splashing a story on their back page slamming the signing.
It could turn out to be the tabloid's very own Alan Hansen moment, with Martial settling straight into life at his new club.
After his double at St Mary's on Sunday afternoon, Manchester United fans got stuck into the paper's back page, mocking it via Twitter...
