Leigh Griffiths reacts on Twitter to 6-0 win, Celtic fans respond

Celtic supporters were delighted with their no.9 following a heavy win over Dundee on Sunday afternoon.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths was delighted on Sunday afternoon after netting during the Bhoys' 6-0 win over Dundee.

Last season's top scorer was on the mark again as Ronny Deila's men ran riot, with goals from Emilio Izaguirre, Nadir Ciftci, Scott Brown and Tom Rogic completing the rout.

And Griffiths expressed his pleasure on Twitter, posting a simple tweet with the above picture.

Naturally, Celtic fans were just as pleased for the striker and sent him plenty of good-will messages on social media.

Up next for the Bhoys is a League Cup clash with Raith, before a Scottish Premiership game against Hearts and Europa League fixture against Fenerbahce. Griffiths will be needed at his best throughout, although he may be getting further support if Carlton Cole moves to Parkhead.

Ciftci's goal against Dundee will also provide the club with a boost, as the summer signing can hopefully build on his confidence and lift the burden of being a goalscoring striker off the 25-year-old.

Here's how fans responded to Griffiths's simple message on Twitter - there were a lot of happy Bhoys on Sunday afternoon, although Deila's side are still five points behind Aberdeen, meaning there is work to be done...
