Crystal Palace went down 1-0 at White Hart Lane…

Clinton Morrison has written on that Crystal Palace will bounce back from the defeat to Tottenham Hotspur away from home in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Palace lost their second successive league game, as they went down 1-0 to Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Son Heung-min’s goal midway through the second half proved to be the difference between the two sides in North London.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, visiting Palace had 43% of the possession, took 12 shots of which four were on target, and earned five corners.

Hosts Tottenham had 57% of the possession, took 22 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners.

Former Palace forward Morrison was following the match and wrote on “Spurs dominated the game from start to finish. Eriksen made a big difference when he came on & Son was brilliant.

“I must say Lloris' amazing save was a crucial moment just before Spurs scored. Palace missed a target man like Murray up front to release pressure for them, but they'll bounce back. My MoM was Son but it was close with Lloris and his crucial save’”

Another Palace forward, Mark Bright, was also full of praise for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and posted the following message on social networking site Twitter:

The defeat to their London rivals Tottenham will have come as a disappointment to Palace, but the fans should be happy with the start made by the team to the 2015-16 campaign.

As things stand, Alan Pardew’s side are eighth in the Premier League table with nine points from six matches, just three points behind fourth-place Leicester City.
