City suffered their first defeat of the 2015-16 Premier League campaign, as they went down 3-1 to West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.
Chelsea-owned winger Victor Moses put the Hammers ahead after just six minutes, and Diafra Sakho doubled the advantage just past the half-hour mark.
Kevin De Bruyne fired home for City on the stroke of half time, but Manuel Pellegrini’s side failed to find an equaliser in the second 45 minutes.
Following the match, midfielder Toure took to Twitter to give his reaction to the defeat and make it clear that the players are determined to bound back.
We are frustrated and disappointed with the result. But there is no time to feel sorry for ourselves. We must bounce back. We will.— Yaya Touré (@YayaToure) September 19, 2015
Despite the defeat, City remain at the top of the Premier League table with 15 points from six matches, three points clear of second-place West Ham.
