The winger is cup-tied for the Capital One Cup game with Leicester City.
According to BBC Sport the flying winger cost West Ham a fee in the region of £7 million and Forest were gutted to let him go.
So far he has been used sparingly at Upton Park, but did make his debut for the club against Manchester City this weekend – coming on in the 60th minute at The Etihad Stadium.
It appears that West Ham feel there is some improvement to be done from Antonio before he can command a Premier League starting spot and with that in mind he is now set to feature for the club’s development side this week.
West Ham confirmed the news on their official Twitter account earlier today…

Antonio will face off with the Newcastle United under-21s as The Hammers attempt to further integrate their new signing into the West Ham mould.
Of course he would have loved to have faced off against Leicester City in the League Cup this week, but he is cup-tied for that fixture having already played for Nottingham Forest in the competition.
So he will instead get the chance to impress in the second-team.
