The Chelsea loanee has stated that he is over the moon to have won his first two games as a Hammer.
The gifted winger joined the Boleyn Ground outfit from Chelsea on transfer deadline day and has featured for Slaven Bilic’s men against Newcastle and Manchester City.
Moses hit the back of the net for the visitors to the Etihad Stadium yesterday, which played a decisive role in helping the Hammers to a shock 2-1 win over the table-toppers.
The versatile forward has admitted that he is delighted with how his first two games have gone for West Ham.
“It’s not a bad way to start!” Moses told the club’s official website.
“Winning two games in a row is fantastic and it’s great credit to the lads. I’m delighted.
“We’re pleased with the three points, it’s a massive win and we just want to keep on winning games now.
“I was very happy to score. I should have scored against Newcastle but it wasn’t to be. I scored today and hopefully it’s the first of many for West Ham.
“I saw that Joe Hart thought I was going to cross the ball, so I caught him unawares. It was a great goal.”
The Hammers have now won away to Arsenal, Liverpool and City for the first time in a season in their history and look like a side fully capable of excelling this term.
Moses has been something of a journeyman in recent campaigns due to his opportunities at Stamford Bridge drying up, but he signed a new contract with the Premier League champions before heading to West Ham.
A run of regular games will be the perfect tonic for the former Wigan man, who has looked sharp so far for his new team.
