MK Dons’ Carl Baker sends message to Leeds fans on Twitter

Leeds United defeated Milton Keynes Dons 2-1 away from home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Milton Keynes Dons attacking midfielder Carl Baker has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his admiration of the Leeds United fans.

Baker played for MK Dons against Leeds in the Championship game at Stadium:mk on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites won the game 2-1, thanks to goals from Chris Wood and Charlie Taylor in the first half.

Baker was responsible for Leeds’ opening goal, as he gave away the penalty from which Wood scored.

The 32-year-old attacker had some banter with the Leeds fans on Twitter after the match, and he was appreciative of them, as his following tweet suggests:

Leeds are one of the best supported clubs in England and regularly get over 20,000 fans at Elland Road for their home matches.

On Saturday, the West Yorkshire outfit had as many as 6297 supporters at Stadium:mk.

Uwe Rosler’s side are now 10th in the Championship table with 11 points from eight matches, just a point behind sixth-placed Reading.
