The new Tottenham Hotspur player is already making quite a name for himself at the club.
Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son has been speaking following his match-winning strike against Crystal Palace this weekend, with his comments later published by the club’s official Twitter account.
Son signed for Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen during the summer and he has wasted little time endearing himself to the White Hart Lane faithful.
After scoring two goals in the Europa League against FK Qarabag last week, the South Korea international netted what proved to be the winner against the Eagles just a few days later.
Tottenham have now won back-to-back league games 1-0 and while Harry Kane is yet to score for the club this season, they appear to have another player who can ease the pressure on the front-man until he turns a corner.
Speaking after the match, Son said, “It was an amazing feeling to score. It was amazing for me. I’m really, really happy.”
Son scored after fine work from substitute Christian Eriksen and he was quick to praise the Danish international after the final whistle.
“Chris played a good pass and I was one v one with the centre-back,” Son added. “I shot with my left foot and maybe it was a bit lucky.”
They say you make your own luck in this game, and after his fine initial outings it seems Tottenham have found quite a player during their summer spending spree.
