Confirmed: Southampton and Manchester United line-ups

Here is now Southampton and Manchester United will line up this weekend:

Southampton take on Manchester United at St. Mary’s this weekend with both sides eager to claim the three points and push further up the table as a result.

A win for Southampton would see them climb into the top 10 while United can move just three points behind current league leaders Manchester City with a victory.

It should make for an enticing fixture, especially with United looking to get back to winning ways after their setback against PSV Eindhoven last week – along with the horror injury sustained by former Southampton left-back Luke Shaw.

Southampton ended an eight-match winless run against United when they defeated them in their last fixture back in January, but with just two wins in their last 11 matches the Saints will have to be at their very best to get a victory this afternoon.

United showed they can score more than one goal a game in the 3-1 victory against Liverpool but in their own backyard the Saints are not going to concede easily and this could well be a score draw.
