Celtic fans delighted on Twitter by Stefan Johansen's omission v Dundee

An overwhelming number of Celtic supporters were pleased the Norwegian missed Sunday's 6-0 win.

Things are quite different for Stefan Johansen to when he won Celtic's Player of the Year award a few months back, it seems.

Indeed, right now, the Bhoys faithful - whether it be a minority or majority - appear to be glad to see the 24-year-old miss out on Scottish Premiership games.

That was certainly the case on Twitter on Sunday afternoon, after Johansen missed Celtic's 6-0 win over Dundee.

Search the Norwegian's name on Twitter and it's mostly criticism - joy that he was absent. Search Tom Rogic's name, meanwhile, and you get plenty of comments suggesting the Australian is a far superior option to Johansen for Ronny Deila right now.

So what's gone wrong? The 24-year-old was the talk of the town but a few months ago, although it seems the Celtic playmaker is simply off form. Many supporters felt the Hoops looked a much better team without him and remarked that a 6-0 win as soon as he misses a game was no coincidence.

It would appear Johansen missed out for fitness reasons but should Deila keep him out of the team for footballing reasons? Here's how Celtic fans reacted to his omission and the 6-0 victory on Twitter:
