Brad Friedel has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Crystal Palace at home on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham won their third successive competitive match, as they defeated Palace 1-0 at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.

Son Heung-min’s goal midway through the second half proved to be the difference between the two teams in North London.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, hosts Spurs had 57% of the possession, took 22 shots of which just six were on target, and earned six corners.

Visitors Palace had 43% of the possession, took 12 shots of which four were on target, and earned five corners.

Former Tottenham goalkeeper Friedel was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Tottenham legend Gary Lineker was also watching the game, and he was impressed with the performance of Dele Alli in particular.

Alli retained his place in Tottenham’s starting lineup and was superb against London rivals Palace.

The 19-year-old midfielder was hugely confident when going forward and did not hesitate to try his luck on goal.

The England Under-21 international took four shots, had a pass accuracy of 78%, created two chances, put in one cross, attempted three dribbles, and made four interceptions, four clearances and three blocks.
