Swansea City and Everton played out a goalless draw at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the team’s failure to win against Swansea City away from home on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees failed to build on their 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Goodison Park in the Premier League last weekend, as they played out a goalless draw with Swansea at the Liberty Stadium.

The Merseyside outfit ended the game with 10 men following the sending-off of Kevin Mirallas.

Following the match, former Leeds United star Lennon, who joined Everton from Tottenham in the summer transfer window, took to Twitter to give his reaction to the draw.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Liberty Stadium, visiting Everton had 52% of the possession, took 17 shots of which only two were on target, and earned four corners.

Roberto Martinez’s side are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with nine points from six matches, just a point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, who have a game in hand.
