The Croatian has a long working history with the current West Ham boss Slaven Bilic.
Yesterday it was confirmed by West Ham that they had finally appointed themselves a new assistant manager.
After a lengthy wait for a new work permit a good friend of Slaven Bilic’s has taken on the role. Nikola Jurcevic has worked under Bilic at Croatia, Lokomotiv Moscow and Besiktas and the 49-year-old has finally been given the chance to take over at the club.
Now he has been welcomed to the club by West Ham’s co-chairman David Gold through Twitter.
Gold sent this message out to his followers earlier in the day:

Up until now Bilic has been assisted by first-team coach’s Julian Dicks and Edin Terzic for the start of the season but now West Ham have once again shown their backing to their new boss.
Bilic has already won over the West Ham fans early doors with terrific wins against the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool away from home in the Premier League.
Now he has his full coaching team assembled and is fully on his way to taking West Ham up the table.
